The skies have turned greyer and the daylight darkens. Winter must be on the way and Hallowe’en ushers in Summer’s end. Now the rain falls and the wind howls. Hope it’s not as wild as this on Monday night and the local kids will get to go guising.
I’m not sure whether we’ll all be home on Monday. Lucy might be home or in hospital but is planning an evening with some fun scary favourites: Ghostbusters, The Addams Family, maybe the Creature From The Black Lagoon. I hope to have cleared my cold to share that with her and that she’s back home to share with Ann and Simon. We’ll manage some combination of family fun, maybe virtually.
