Ann is helping Lucy with her trip to the hospital this week and I’ve been holding the fort at home. After some light housework, I found time to bring out the latest episode of Meanwhile Back On Earth and finish the pencil stage of its creation. It’s the morning after the saucer crash and the Laird is calling someone we know for advice.

This time I’m trying the techniques of the old newspaper artists and working with 3H and 8B pencils. I like the ability to get fine detail and bold shading.
