Whether you follow Jesus, Eostre, another faith, Hallmark or the Easter Bunny, may I wish you all a very happy Easter. Sadly, the Toner household is far scattered this Paschal season. Lucy is in hospital with her mum for company and Simon and I are holding the fort at home. We’ve had a musical day, with both Simon and myself playing guitar in an informal religious service and with Simon joining a bell choir a little later in the day. Then it was the traditional feasting on real food and chocolate.
Dumfries is basking in the sunshine and so the rest of the day involved communing with nature and soaking up the rays. Phone calls to the hospitalised half of the family made the day complete. Perhaps we’ll all manage to be together next year, with Lucy in full health.
So, once again, a happy Easter to you all.
